Android Pie Has Hardly Got Any Success 2 Months After Its Release

It is expected that the Android OS will make its way into a decent number of devices which has been released 2 months ago. Clearly not.

Just almost 2 months ago, on August 6, Android Pie was released.  However, in the typical fashion, with Google Play analysis in the past week presenting that Android Pie has a non-existent distribution, the Android’s latest version has yet to reach any significant portion of the market.

Android’s most popular version is Android Nougat with a market share of 29.3% and followed is Marshmallow with 21.6%, according to the released data. In fact, Android O finally experiences an increase in its market distribution, taking a step to the third place with 19.2% market share made sure by all news devices now ship with Oreo, which is rather surprising.

Of course, Android Pie has no notable market share in terms of par value. The number of devices running on Android Pie is still very limited. It is awful that only Nokia &, Oneplus 6, the Essential Phone, Pixels and a few flagships of Xiaomi can lay claim to running an official Pie build at the moment. Meanwhile, iOS 12 has now been used on all iPhone models; of course, the number of models to be listed is just over a dozen.
