Alleged Google Pixel XE Live Photos Reveal Punch-Hole Design & Thick Bezels

Google Pixel XE could be the next smartphone Google is preparing to launch. Prior to the new Google Pixel XE live photos, we have never had anything about this phone, not even its name. Even though we have a good look at the upcoming Pixel phone, it doesn’t seem to be good news. You can see on the leaked live photos that the handset appears to have pretty thick bezels on all sides, especially at the top and bottom edges. It would be normal for a smartphone to have such thick bezels if this is from a few years ago and I doubt that Google would release a budget smartphone in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment.

The photos also reveal that the alleged Pixel XE will still feature the punch-hole style at the top to accommodate a single camera for picturing selfies. In addition to the design, the photos also show the Connectivity and ‘About Phone’ sections, confirming the NFC support as well. Moreover, you can see that in one of the photos, the Pixel XE seemingly has two SIM slots. These are all details we can get from the leaked photos. 

It is worth noting that this new leak is not from a credible source, so you should take it with a grain of salt. Moreover, leaks of previous Pixel smartphones were usually shared online months ahead of the official launch. Given the fact that the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a were released a few months ago, we might have to wait for a while for the Pixel XE arrival.
