YouTube Music Now Display Song Lyrics, Available On Both iOS And Android

YouTube Music is in competition with its rivals such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify.

Recently, YouTube Music has updated its users with a new feature of viewing song lyrics. The update will apply for both Android and iOS users.

With this new feature, YouTube Music is in competition with its rivals such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify - those which have provided song lyrics a long time ago. However, as mentioned by The Verge, the lack of real-time tracking can make YouTube Music a bit less attractive to users.

Song lyrics feature is a great add-in for any music app, therefore it is preferable for any music streaming services to treat this feature as core and even mandatory. Though the lyrics feature is not available on the web version, users can see its appearance on the mobile version.

Also, in fact, not every song displays the lyrics. It may take some time for YouTube to update the feature in more songs. However, if you want to sing along your favorite track, you may need to wait until the lyrics are updated.

Even though the feature does not support all songs, it will definitely work on popular tracks.

On a song that is playing, just click on the "i" button on the screen on the left, you can see the lyrics now. Even though the feature does not support all songs, it will definitely work on popular tracks. From YouTube, the lyrics are provided by LyricFind and updated daily. If your song does not have the lyrics, it may get later the other day.

The lyrics will show up under the song’s title and artwork. However, they are just static lyrics. Real-time lyrics, for now, are not yet available on YouTube Music.

The good news is that YouTube Music is working on producing lyrics for the web version, but yet YouTube has not informed further details about the timeline.
