Thanks to the new charging technology called Mi Charge Turbo, it takes users only 25 minutes to charge 50% of 4,000mAh battery and 70 minutes a full charge of their phones.

Although original equipment manufacturers are focusing on upgrading the speed of wired charging, Xiaomi has been already standing on a different position. Recently at an event in China, the tech giant has introduced the 30W Wireless Charger, which is capable of defeating every type of wired charging on the market. The wireless charging solution will soon be released on one of Xiaomi's flagship phones.

It takes users only 25 minutes to charge 50% of 4,000mAh battery and 70 minutes to fully charge 100%.

With this wireless charger, Xiaomi is confident that with the new charging technology called Mi Charge Turbo, it takes users only 25 minutes to charge 50% of 4,000mAh battery and 70 minutes to fully charge 100%. The technology will be released on Mi 9 Pro in the near future. The Mi 9 Pro phone will still retain 10W reverse wireless charging, which is well-known for phones like Huawei Mate 20 Pro or Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

Xiaomi also added that they are developing a 40W wireless charging system without revealing anything else. In addition, Xiaomi did not share any further information about how they have worked in particular with 30W wireless charging.

Xiaomi also announced that it will launch a sales program for the 30W Qi wireless charger that corresponds to the Mi 9 Pro 5G phone, as there are currently no wireless charging devices that can support 30W‌ charging. Along with that, Xiaomi will also launch a 20W smart wireless charger that displays the time and charging level.

The technology will be released on Mi 9 Pro in the near future.

The Mi 9 Pro 5G is expected to be released in September in China. According to internal information and on the TENAA listing, the phone will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855‌ Plus SoC, RAM of 12GB and storage of 512GB. Also, it is expected to own a 6.39-inch FullHD‌‌‌ AMOLED‌ screen.
