WhatsApp has announced that the feature named "Short Link" now is available for the business version on Android devices. The latest feature also will be reachable on iOS devices as well with the beta version of 2.19.21.5.
With the new feature, users can easily shorten the link into a wa.me URL
WhatsApp has launched the service since the previous year with the beta version 2.18.138 for Android devices. The Short Link is a feature that will shorten your link into a simple URL. A shortened link will be reformed into a wa.me URL. This provides a convenient solution for businesses. They can share a simplified link with their customers in order to start a conversation immediately. As per some reports, this service has been updated to deliver a default message.
The wa.me link is said to help business users of WhatsApp to reach out to the target audiences in a timely manner. A wa.me URL will gain the trust of the potential clients and easier to share for businesses.
An introduction of Business App
WhatsApp Business is an alternate version launched for businesses in January 2018. It’s free on both the Play Store and App Store. The app provides some specific functions and allows companies to interact with their customers directly. Some of those responses include the automatic, smart replies and absence messages as well. With a Business version, the companies are able to get more user’s behaviors and particularly handle the customer’s insights. These functions are the same as some other messaging platforms which support the business, but it's supposed to be more trustworthy due to WhatsApp's ability.
Besides the Short Link, the messaging platform has also released a couple of new features to its product a few months ago. The function list is spreading from new emoji packages, status feed to reverse search of images and an in-app browser.
