Recently, tons of Indian students have talked about the UMANG app, but what exactly it is? As the shortened name for the Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance, the UMANG app offers a multitude of useful features for Indian citizens, especially a dedicated feature that helps students apply for national scholarship programs via the app.
Students can find the National Scholarship Portal right from the app’s search bar. This service was announced to the public throughout the Internet with a Twitter post written by UMANG App India’s official account.
As per the tweet, Indian students can avail dedicated information about fresh/new scholarships and apply for the most suitable ones. In addition, they can also renew their current scholarship without any difficulties.
The UMANG app is a go-to place for not only students but also people when they need to look for government-related services. First launched in 2017, the app currently provides hundreds of citizen-centric services across the country. E-governance services are included in three categories: Central, State, and All.
In order to help students who are preparing for exams, the UMANG app also enables them to get all necessary information, such as pending results, vacancies, exam dates, and so on. The app is available on both Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store.
