Twitter Beats Expectations With Growth In Number Of Users

Twitter is trying to become a healthier place.

Amid trying to be a non-toxic place, Twitter has disclosed the number of monthly active users in the first quarter on Tuesday.

Revenue rose 18% YOY to $787 million. Talking about the number of daily active users, the company said it won’t comparable to those of other platforms because only users being able to view ads were counted.

The company has beaten the expectations of the board. Some of the efforts on making a significant change for the service may be paying off. Idea-sharing platform is said to tackle hate speech, make conversation easier to follow and introduce new features to improve user experience.
