On February 12, Microsoft has revealed the champions of the 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Finals, a competition to honour the outstanding innovations and technologies in the world.

The championship belonged to a group of students from Delhi. They generated a kind of anti-pollution mask that allegedly suits the patients with asthma most.
What makes the differences in the competition over the 16 previous ones is that its competitors will have an opportunity to gain both mentorships and cash if they become the final winners. In the end, three Indian students, who are studying at the Manav Rachna Institute of Research & Studies, has beaten 11 other opposers from Asian countries due to Caeli, the name of their anti-pollution mask.
If you are living in a city with high air pollution like Mumbai or Delhi, Caeli must be for you. Although any one of us can wear it, this hi-tech mask is supposedly destined for asthma patients, as well as those who have troubles with their chronic respiratory diseases.
The anti-pollution mask is in synchronization with a sensor named Air Quality Index (AQI). In addition, wearers can enjoy the better air quality, and get the asthma dose timely thanks to the automatic drug delivery system integrated into the mask. It functions based on three criteria including pollution levels, breathing difficulty levels, and dose schedule of wearers.

The Chinese team named RailinNova won the second prize with an automated robot which can detect issues in rail and train components, while the third prize belonged to the Philippine team, AidUSC with Aqua Check, an application for smartphones. This app is capable of measuring the pureness of water when using a microscope to observe a sample's photo.
As the first winners, these three Indian students were awarded $15,000 (equivalent to Rs 10.62 lakh), and they will enter the Imagine Cup World Championship that takes place in Seattle in the next three months, May 2019.
If they become the champions next time, in addition to cash prizes, they will have a chance to get the mentorship from Satya Nadella, Microsoft's renowned CEO.
