The Australians now can save millions of dollars due to the efficiency of the Tesla battery project.
People all over the world have recognized the contribution of this project, which makes Tesla consider its conventional plan for energy power.
The 100MW/129MWh powerpack project of the company showed evidence that it brought many benefits to South Australia; it means more than tens of millions of dollars were saved in this country as stated by the latest report, delivering on Elon Musk’s promise.

The Background
The large 100 MWh battery would be deployed in South Australia, which was a firm promise of Elon Musk in 2017. So now, we can say that the ambitious project of Tesla is highly advantageous to the people in Australia.
The region used to suffer from numerous power cuts, but it now takes them only 100 days to address the electrical problem with assistance from Tesla battery.
Tesla described the effectiveness of this super-powered battery in solving the Li-on problem:
“It will help solve power outages, reduce intermittencies and manage summertime peak load to support the reliability of South Australia’s electrical infrastructure, providing enough power for more than 30,000 homes—approximately equal to the number of homes that lost power during the blackout period last year.”
At present, how is the company’s project running?
Big savings by cheap energy
In a report published lately, it is stated that nearly $40 million was saved when the Li-on system was operated the first time in 12 months.
In comparison with the local plants, Tesla’s power source is quicker in offering the same services to South Australia without emissions.
Actually, it seems to be very efficient because, on the first day of operation, $1 million was made by this system. Indeed, only $66 million is the cost of the whole project. Also, it could pay for the project itself when it comes to the second year.
Jay Weatherill, Premier of South Australia, said: “This project sends the clearest message that South Australia will be a leading renewable energy with battery storage.”
The statement can be proved to be true only when news about the achievement of the Tesla project is spreading out.
The global infrastructure contracted with advisory firm Aurecon to examine the productivity of Tesla’s power system.
According to a report, the decrease in wholesale prices and energy stability can become realistic goals owing to significant advantages from Tesla’s technology.
