On October 09, a shooting took place outside a synagogue in German when Jewish people were participating in one of their most important holidays, leading to two deaths. It was noted that the suspect live-streamed a 35-minute video on Twitch, a famous live streaming video platform of Amazon.

The video recorded the moment when he shot two people and attempted to attack the synagogue. Luckily, he didn’t succeed.
This attack reminded us of the Christchurch video that was available on Facebook 06 months ago. At that time, Mark Zuckerberg and his company faced heavy criticism as they let the video approach too many watchers.
Back to the shooting outside the German synagogue, only 05 people were found witnessing the incident when it took place, and around 2,200 people watched the video before it disappeared from Twitch.
30 minutes after being spread on Twitch, this video was immediately removed from this platform. However, some uploaded it to a few video sites.
It was obvious that tech companies have learned how to give quicker reactions to struggle against extremism, as well as how to rapidly remove such videos out of their own platforms.

A Twitch spokesperson said, as quoted by CNET:

The spokesperson also further said:

The two victims in this attack were confirmed dead and law enforcement in German has believed that there was an involvement of many other attackers in the pitiful incident. The Verge reported that only one culprit appeared in the video.
