Samsung Galaxy Apps Store Now Available In 12 Indian Languages

Samsung India will bring to customers an Apps Store supported by 12 Indian languages and no longer sign-in requirement.

A partnership with Indus Bazaar
Samsung has announced that content discovery on the Galaxy Store is now easier for Indian customers, thanks to the support of the South Korean manufacturers for several devices in India. Besides the default language as English, the Galaxy Store now is available in 12 languages that including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Tengulu, and Urdu.

On Tuesday, the company disclosed its partnership with Indus Bazaar, which brings to customers a Galaxy Store supported by a couple of Indian local languages additionally. This follows the increase of Samsung smartphones and a bunch of apps downloads in various tier 2 and tier 3 regions in India. Demand in those market is growing rapidly and the language support will make the users to easily access the Store and explore relevant apps and contents as well.

The statement also noted that the Galaxy Store will no longer require users to sign-in. Previously, users using Samsung devices need to log-in by account and password in order to download the apps. Thanks to the policy change, Indian users can be able to search for the desired content and install it on their smartphone without verifying the personal information. With two features updated, the apps store would empower many users who were earlier unable to enjoy the extensive application availability.
