Mobile Internet Speed Rank Of India Falls To 121st

Norway was at the top in portable internet speed with an average of 65.41 Mbps in downloading speed.

According to Ookla ranking index - known as a “Speedtest” company - is now declaring that India's mobile internet speeds served during April 2019, dropping from 108 to 121.

The company called Ookla is appreciated for its Speedtest program (on app and website) and possesses Speedtest Global index toward approximately 140 nations, ranking based on the speed of mobile internet. India, then, has witnessed a constant downward trend for portable internet speeds in recent months. The country’s ranking goes down from 120 (in March) from 121.

In Winter 2018, India marked itself at 108th rank, then dropped to 119 in the first month of 2019, and then settled at 120 in the next two months of 2019. At the end of 2018, the common speeds attained at 10.06 Mbps for downloads, then slightly increase to 10.71 Mbps in April 2019.

The upload speeds on portable internet were indeed worse among the mean at 4.20 Mbps. Connected to the 3.9 Mbps speeds for uploading in Winter 2018, this was certainly an indifferent improvement in courses of performance.

Luckily, the good news for Indian was that it managed successfully to sustain the 68th rank in fixed broadband speeds. Taking data from hundreds of millions of tests, Ookla’s Global Speedtest Index is focusing on measuring real people data using Speedtest every month. The company, then, claims it owns 40 million active users living in India with a capacity of conducting over 800,000 tests each day.

In the recent report of OpenSignal, Airtel moved as the top telecom service provider with the highest number of download speeds for 4G mobile, while Reliance Jio became the best R4G LTE producer in the country with the highest availability ranking.  Data of OpenSignal registered Airtel with its highest speed of 8.7Mbps, tailgated by Reliance Jio and Vodafone with the download speeds of 6.3Mbps and 5.9Mbps respectively.
