MPL Working With Google To Restore Its App

MPL (Mobile Premier League) is a popular esport platform but currently not available on Google Play Store. However, Apple users are able to download this application from the App Store. However, Android users still have ways to access this platform on their mobile devices. On the website of the company, there is an apk version for Android users to download directly.
MPL said it is contacting Google to bring the app back on Google Play Store.

According to the company, the application is removed by technical conflicts with Google's developer policy. MPL claims the development team is currently working with the relevant team at Google to resolve this issue.
It is worth noting that some other popular esport platforms are not available on Google Play Store either, such as Dream11. MPL is a company based in Bengaluru, India. The platform is one of the most popular and trending applications in the country. Players receive real rewards for playing games. They can play different genres of games and bring them cash rewards.
MPL game allows players to use cash to play. It is owned by Galactus Funware Technology Pvt. Ltd. The company was launched in September 2018. It has games focusing on arcade, adventure, skills-based/ puzzles, and other genres. Besides, it also organizes multi-player tournaments on its platform with prize money. MPL said there are now over 25 million people registered on both iOS and Android platforms. However, a majority of MPL users come from non-urban cities of India.

MPL said that they recently raised a $35.5 million grant from Series A led by Times Internet, GoVentures and Sequoia India. The company said the current fund would be used to promote its products and attract more players in India.
