Microsoft Wants To Mine Cryptocurrency Using Your Brain Waves
Anil
Our brain signals would be used in exchange for cryptocurrency as compensation.
Microsoft has suggested a new method that would analyze customers’ brainwaves to exchange cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. According to PC Magazine, the unrecognized patent application describes a system that is able to scan a user’s brain activity or other forms of biological signals to check whether that person has finished the task (watching an ad, for example) or not. Then those signals would be used in exchange for cryptocurrency as compensation for the users.
Potential risks
Regarding the logistics for a transaction like that, everything still seems quite dubious. Many questions are raised surrounding this invention, like the way that application operates and the actual information it can gain from the users’ database.
But there is only one obvious thing - this is not the wholly new idea in the field of cryptocurrency technology. Honestly, it is known as a common practice, even when many of the systems illustrated in those patents would not be realized forever.

Based on available information, this system appears to collaborate closely with a system called Mechanical Turk, in which workers attempt to finish quick duties such as training AI algorithms to earn a small amount of money.
As added by PC Magazine, the idea was depicted as an absolute, even intrusive proof for the contribution of the users, without any pain recorded. Therefore, both customers and ad providers can save time for other jobs.
