Google Assistant can help us do a lot of things. It responses to voice commands made through smart devices like your phones, tablets or even speakers. Now, if you have set up payments for Google Assistant on Google Home, you can quickly ask it to make charitable donations on your behalf with just a few simple commands.

When you ask Google Assistant to donate money, it will recommend you with a list of charitable groups, and you can choose the amount of money that you want to send. The process of making charity donation will become simpler than ever.
To start the charity donation process on Google Assistant, users just need to say a brief request, for example, "Hey Google, donate to charity." Then, this smart personal assistant will ask you to provide the name of the organization you want to make a donation to together with the amount of money. $10 is the average amount that Google Assistant usually suggests. Of course, you can adjust and customize all that information (higher or lower than $10). Finally, Assistant will confirm all info with you and be ready to send donations.

Although the process is quite simple and quick, in order to ensure safety, when making donations on a smart speaker, you must go through the confirmation step on your smartphone to avoid fraudsters. It still saves a lot of time and is more straightforward than using Google Play or go around the steps on the donation websites though.

Currently, users of Android devices are also able to donate via Google Play. This new feature of Google Play was released around the same period with Google Assistant's donation feature.
