On 30th October, the MacBook Air 2018 by Apple has been launched in Brooklyn, New York. The Air sports a 13.3-inch Retina display with a 2560x1600-pixel resolution. It will be expectedly priced at $1,199.

As for the resolution, the MacBook Air 2018’s resolution will have four times higher than that of the previous models. The display is covered by slim bezels which make the screen larger. This time, the chosen material for design is recycled aluminum.
The laptop weighs only 2.75 pounds (around 1.24 kg). That means it is a bit lighter than other models. The Air possesses Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports boosting the external displays’ resolution up to 5K as well as optimizing the eGPUs’ graphics performance.
As expected, the Air 2018 can run web browsers continuously in the maximum 12 hours as well as play iTunes movies in 13 hours. Not only that, but it also has the most secure boot process and supports Touch ID and Siri with the Apple T2 chip that brings the deeper security with the automatic data encryption.
Additionally, Apple put a 3rd-generation butterfly keyboard and a Force Touch trackpad into the Air 2018. The Force Touch trackpad on the MacBook Air 2018 is larger than that on the MacBook Pro. Other plus points of the laptop are a FaceTime HD camera and louder stereo speakers which are assessed to create the more perfect bass sound.
When it comes to the market on November 7th, the new MacBook Air will be the cheapest MacBook with a Retina display, for only $1,199. The price is $100 less than the 12-inch MacBook model. It is clear that Apple has improved some features for its most popular laptops to meet customers’ demand.
