Microsoft is said to debut its Surface 7 today. However, a new leak offers us a look at the hybrid tablet before it’s launched at the official event. If these images are reliable, the upcoming Microsoft Surface seems thinner than earlier models, along with smaller bezels to offer larger displays.

On Monday, leaker Evan Blass shared a number of images of what the new Surface may look like, from which we anticipate a bigger Surface 7 Pro as well as low-power Surface laptops.

At the upcoming event, Microsoft will show off the latest Surface lineup. Rumors said that the Surface 7 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8cx set of chips from Qualcomm instead of an Intel chip. The company is even rumored to announce a Surface with dual screens.

Microsoft may announce a laptop too

When Microsoft was asked about the leaked images’ legitimacy, it says it doesn’t comment on speculation or rumors.

Surface is Microsoft’s series of touch-screen PCs and interactive whiteboards running on the Windows operating system that’s designed and developed by the company. They are meant to be premium devices, setting examples to Windows OEMs. There are six generations of hybrid tablets, interactive whiteboards, convertible desktops all-in-one, 2-in-1 detachable notebooks, and many accessories that feature unique form factors.

Except for the original Surface and Surface 2, all PCs in this series before the Surface 7 Pro are powered by Intel chips and can support Windows 10 operating system. There are six main device lines in the Surface family, including Surface and Surface Pro (hybrid tablets), Surface Laptop (non-detachable touch-screen notebooks), Surface Book (notebooks with detachable screens), Surface Studio (all-in-one desktops), and Surface Hub (interactive touch-screen whiteboards)
