The Bezoses' divorce may be because Bezos has been having an affair with Lauren Sanchez, and now a publication said it owns the whole story of this affair.

Among the news storm around what’s considered the most costly divorce in history, there’s now a dramatic turn. On Wednesday, billionaire Jeff Bezos – Amazon founder – announced the divorce with his 25-year-married wife, MacKenzie Bezos.

Just hours later, the well-known National Enquirer, a tabloid focusing on gossiping around celebrities, revealed that it had investigated the affair between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez for four months. The tabloid plans to publicize the entire story on Thursday.

According to the Enquirer, its reporters followed the two around five states and over 64,300 kilometers, tailed them in fancy limos, private jets, helicopter rides, dinner dates, hideaways in five-star hotels, romantic hikes and more. The tabloid said it intended to place the headline as “The cheating photos that ended his marriage.”

The Enquirer also claimed it managed to capture sensitive photos of the couple, it can also access raunchy messages as well as erotic selfies. Notably, the publication said it is keeping one steamy photo that is too explicit to publish. It stated that there are even more shocking pictures of Bezos and Sanchez, however, it hasn’t released any of them.

The affair between Bezos and Sanchez was reported by the New York Post on Wednesday, shortly before the announcement from the National Enquirer. Although the New York Post did not specifically refer to the National Enquirer, it did suggest that the Bezoses announced their divorce to come ahead of potential publishing of pictures of Sanchez and Bezos.
