It’s Now Possible To Book IRCTC Train Tickets Via Google Pay

Google has added a new feature on the Google Pay payments app through which you can now book and manage IRCTC train tickets.

One more new feature has been added to Google Pay payments app with which you can book your train tickets. Google Pay now offers a ticket booking service from IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation.) Both iOS and Android users will be able to use this feature.
The new launch belongs to the services on travel and transit that are already on Google Pay.
With this feature, Google Pay users can search and browse through different train options, and book or cancel train ticket, all without any additional cost. Details like travel times between each station, journey duration, and seat availability are also offered.
Ambarish Kenghe, Google Pay’s director of product management, said:
IRCTC, Indian Railways’ online portal and the largest e-commerce website of India, has just got a brand new look. The new interface is designed to give passengers an easier, faster and more convenient when booking train tickets. With the e-ticketing website’s new interface, users don’t even have to log in to search for trains and check seat availability, which will save a lot of time. A new feature called ‘Waitlist prediction’ is added, with which users can receive the possibility of a RAC or Waitlisted ticket being confirmed.
