The statement comes amid tensions between the Chinese giant firm and the US government which have escalated in the past few months.

Huawei is all prepared in case the tension between it and the US gets even rockier.

The company told German publication Die Welt that it has created its own mobile and computer operating systems in case it cannot use Android or Windows due to the bad relationship with the US government. The South China Morning Post spotted the news on Thursday.

According to Huawei Technologies mobile chief Richard Yu.

Yu, however, added that the company still wants to work with Microsoft and Google. The firm didn’t respond immediately to a comment request.

The statement comes amid tensions between the Chinese giant firm and the US government which have escalated in the past few months. Huawei has been watched closely for the close relationship it has with the Chinese government. The tensions rose high in December last year with the arrest of Meng Wanzhou, the CFO of Huawei and daughter of Huawei’s founder Ren Zhengfei, for violating US sanctions on Iran. On Friday, Canada granted the request of Meng’s extradition to the US.

Last month, Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State, said that the US will not partner with countries using the firm's technology dues to security threats.

Last week, the Chinese giant struck back by filing a lawsuit against the US government with allegations over the ban on its telecom equipment. It filed the suit to the US District Court in Texas, which said the Congress failed to show any evidence for banning Huawei products and hence was unconstitutional.

In the filing, Huawei also stated that the ban prevented it from serving its customers in the US, damages its reputation, and blocks its opportunity to serve global consumers.
