Huawei Has A Secret Lab At Its Headquarters In China

Although in 2018, the smartphone sales of Huawei has increased significantly, it is impossible to say the company has had a good year. Many governments have expressed concerns about the security of Huawei's equipment. Then earlier in December, one of Huawei's senior executives was recently arrested. But the smartphone giant has plans for its next steps. It is known that Huawei has a modern secret research lab called "White House" located at its headquarters located in Shenzhen, China. The name of this lab is a bit ironic when it coincides with the name of the office and resident of the President of United States.

The purpose of this lab is to reduce dependence on US companies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and all-new modern chips.

According to the report, the Chinese government is pushing the company to create new technologies and solutions. Moreover, in Huawei's secret laboratory, there is a room known as the "vertical industries exhibition hall." This is where the company comes up with different ideas and scenarios for Huawei’s latest technologies. All new technologies and plans are and will be used by the company in the future.

For the moment, Huawei is earning around $10 billion by selling parts for IoT solutions and cloud services to various companies. Expected in the future, it will be increasingly important, and revenue of the company will continue to rise.

Probably the final goal that both the Chinese government and Huawei are approaching is to build devices that do not require any US software or chips. However, as security issues continue to arise, this will result in the loss of customers in foreign countries and the loss in the company's revenue if the company has no plans to stop it.
