WhatsApp has just added a new feature that was requested by many users to their mobile version app. All users can now use the Dark mode feature by updating the new version available, which has been accessible in the beta only.
The difference between WhatsApp’s dark mode and other apps’ is that it is not a mode with true black and white. After tests, they found out that totally contrasting colors can make eyes tired so they decided to choose off-white and dark grey so that the mode will lower the brightness of the screen light and make eyes feel less tired.
Update the latest version of WhatsApp right now so you are able to use the Dark Mode feature. A representative of the popular messaging platform said that it will be released in a few days, so keep yourself updated with the news.
If you are running iOS 13 and Android 10 and have enabled the dark mode in system settings, the feature will automatically appear. If your phone is running Android 9 or below, go to WhatsApp Settings, open Chats then Theme and select Dark to enable the feature.
Users have speculated about the new feature when they see WhatsApps change its profile icon to dark grey. Users also hope that WhatsApp will add this dark mode feature to the desktop version. A spokesperson for WhatsApp refused to comment on the future product when he was asked about the timeline for it.
Anyway, the coming new Dark Mode feature of WhatsApp seems to be a good product that will be able to please WhatsApp’s fans.
