On June 30, the mobile messaging app of ByteDance Helo announced that the number of its active users per month in India has increased to more than 50 million. This app has been available in this market for just one year.

The new app of ByteDance now has more than 50 million monthly active users in the Indian market.

ByteDance first introduced this app to Indian users at the end of March 2019. At that time, the company hoped it would reach 300 percent growth in 2019. According to the Helo Content Operations Head Shyamanga Barooah,

Within only one month after its introduction in India, the app was downloaded more than 1 million times. It has been in partnership with over 500 prominent media companies to provide correct sources of information to its users.

This mobile messaging app now supports up to 14 Indian languages and allows its users to make their own content via lots of convenient tools.

A lot of the top renowned celebrities are also using this app such as Neha Kakkar, Shriya Saran, Hansika Motwani, and Sunny Leone.
