In addition to TikTok, another social media platform from ByteDance called Helo has just hit 4 crore active users per month in India during quarter 1 of 2019. The new platform is expected to reach 300% growth at the end of this year. The information was revealed by a top executive of the company.

According to the Helo’s Head of Content Operations Shyamanga Barooah,
Similar to many other social networking apps, the app Helo enables users to handle a variety of content such as texts, videos, and photos. It also brings a new playground to allow its users to look for new friends, as well as share the most attractive and hottest stories, quotes, and memes.
Besides, the app combines a group of content moderators with a Machine Learning technology to monitor and remove fake news or misinformation in all of its supported languages.
According to revelation from Helo, it has removed up to 5 million posts as well as 160,000 accounts which allegedly violated the company’s “Community Guidelines.”
