Google Is Launching A More Convenient Version Of Gmail

The latest updates will be added to the existing thread instead of coming in the form of a whole new message with dynamic emails

Gmail has been staying stationary for a long time, but Google is working to put a stop to it.

Gmail users have already been informed of the latest change in Gmail’s features, which includes dynamic emails that users can interact with to stay up to date. For example, if you want to join a poll from Doodle, instead of going to another website, now you can do that on the email itself.

Users can interact with the emails now

For now, the dynamic emails are applicable for Booking.com, Google Doodle, and Pinterest but if users want to make their own, the company has not revealed if this is possible or how to do it.

However, for other products from Google like the Docs, the synchronization is automatic. This piece of news comes at a great convenience as now whenever changes happen in a document, instead of receiving a whole new email notifying you about it, Google will put it in the same thread with the older ones.

The news about dynamic emails came out last year, and after a year of work, the final product is finally here. A mobile version of this feature will be out soon, according to a blog post from Google. For corporate emails, updates will be rolled out in the next few days.

This new type of emails can work on Outlook.com, Mail.Ru, Yahoo Mail as well as other providers. When they are sent to a mailbox that cannot display dynamic emails, they will look like other regular ones.

When other means of communication is booming in recent years, Google has finally realized that it needs to upgrade Gmail to stand head and shoulders above the competition. A prime example of this new trend is Slack, which has been pushing Gmail to the side in the last few years. The company is going public and evaluated to be worth $7 billion.
