Facebook Sets Up The Biggest India Office In Bengaluru

Facebook has confirmed that it will have the biggest India office with the area of up to 220,000 sq ft in Bengaluru. As such, Facebook will officially join with the Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Google in the exciting market in Bengaluru.

Hot news is that Facebook has a new address. Facebook revealed the India office takes up about 220,000 sq ft office space in Embassy Golf Links which is located on the Intermediate Ring Road. This new office is believed to be Facebook’s largest one in India.

As expected, Facebook will move to Embassy Golf Links in 2019 and plan to recruit approximately 2,200 employees. The company will pay a rent of Rs 34 crore a year (Rs 130 per sp ft).

Before that, in 2010, Facebook set up its first India office in Hyderabad and then leased in Central Delhi in 2017. The Indian market seems to have the huge attraction to the ruler in the social media world – Facebook!
