Facebook has long been a place where friends and family share happy days when they are not together. Last month Facebook had 500 million people using its Stories feature. The company also said sharing the story is one of the fastest growing features today. This means users tend to share their stories through the 24-hour feature rather than the traditional News Feed.

When it comes to a friend's birthday on your friend list, you will get a reminder in Facebook Stories. It calls you to post a birthday greeting to that friend by taking a photo, recording a short video or customizing it to your liking. Of course, users can attach music to make the e-card more attractive. If you don't have a lot of time but still want to give a few good wishes to your birthday friends, you can use the technical birthday cards suggested by the platform.

According to Facebook, not all the friends on your list who have birthdays are notified to you. Facebook will identify your regular contacts and your close friends and show their birth stories. When your friend appears in the story of a friend with you, that story is also displayed on your feed.
