Social giant Facebook is offering all of its Gaming users a new feature that helps them connect with each other during the coronavirus pandemic.

Social giant Facebook is offering all of its Gaming users a new feature that helps them connect with each other during the coronavirus pandemic.

Specifically, the Tournaments feature is now expanded to all users, which allows you to create competitions with other users, friends or the public. With this feature, you can stay social while practicing social distancing at home during the India lockdown.

The social giant says that this feature is in its early phase and still a work-in-progress, but you can start using it now.

The Tournaments feature was initially created for live gaming events, allowing users to track tournaments so that everybody can follow leader boards, brackets, and more. Creators streaming on Facebook can host, broadcast tournaments, their games and interact with other users on chats.

There’s also a charity integration so that gamers can raise money from their gaming for good cause.

The process of creating a tournament is similar to that of creating an event on Facebook, meaning you can invite friends to join and set the length of the competition.
