As usual, Elon Musk, the CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX, updates all of his latest events on Twitter. On March 12, he revealed that his other company called the Boring Company would complete a high-speed underground tunnel project in Las Vegas before the year 2019 ends.

The third company was founded by Elon Musk in late 2016 after he complained about traffic issues. On yesterday's tweet, it expressed its high appreciation towards the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and hoped to "do great things for Las Vegas together" with the government agency.
According to Futurism, a few days ago, the tourism board in Las Vegas showed their intention to hire Musk’s company to create a tunnel system underneath the ground, which passengers won’t pay any penny to visit. The tunnel will be used as a loop connecting a variety of locations in this famous city, for example, connecting itself to the Las Vegas Strip or McCarran International Airport.

Only one hour before the Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted his newest tweet, according to a Bloomberg report, the officials in Vegas had approved the Boring Company’s plan to set up an underground tunnel in the city of entertainment and nightlife.
However, the Boring Company hasn’t yet uncovered any detailed content relating to its deal with Las Vegas.
As per Steve Hill, he said the project was expected to complete before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the next two years, in 2021.
