The year 2022 will see a Starship spacecraft of SpaceX make a landing on Mars. And when this endeavor happens, the probe might bring with it a Tesla Cybertruck, if we are right about Elon Musk’s intention.
Elon Musk has been hinting that we might soon see a collaboration between his two companies, SpaceX and Tesla, to send the Cybertruck to the Red Planet. At least that is what most people think when they read Musk’s latest tweet on the electric pickup truck.

Back in November last year, Musk talked about a pressurized variant of the Cybertruck that has the potential to be run on Mars. One month after that announcement, he said that the Starship will have space for a Cybertruck, evidence of Musk’s intention to send the controversial pickup truck to Mars.
On the 29th of December, a Twitter user asked Musk directly whether the Cybertruck will make it to the Red Planet. Tesla’s CEO responded with no more than a smiling emoji.
This cannot count as a confirmation but it leads us to either one of these following conclusions. One, SpaceX seriously considers sending a Cybertruck to space onboard its Starship spacecraft; and two, Musk is enjoying trolling people with the idea.

Ever since 2017, Tesla’s Cybertruck has been comparing with the Mars Concept Rover of NASA. What the space agency has in mind is a futuristic armored carrier that looks really tough.
Tesla’s pickup truck being a Mars vehicle is not actually a wild idea because it is powered by electricity, so there is no need for oxygen like other vehicles with combustion engines.
