COMPUTEX 2025 Wraps Up with Strong International Participation

Taiwan's premier technology exhibition COMPUTEX 2025 concluded after four days, drawing over 86,000 international buyers and reinforcing the island's position as a global tech hub through AI-focused exhibitions and industry partnerships.

COMPUTEX 2025 ended on May 27th after a four-day run in Taiwan. The exhibition attracted 86,521 buyers from 152 countries worldwide. Major participating nations included Japan, the United States, South Korea, Vietnam, and India.
This year's event focused on the theme "AI Next." Consequently, the exhibition brought together leading technology companies and emerging startups. The gathering generated significant business opportunities across various AI supply chain segments.

AI and Robotics Take Center Stage
The exhibition highlighted three main areas: AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility. These themes aligned with current technology trends identified by industry analysts.
Pegatron demonstrated human-machine integration technologies at their booth. They showcased interactive biomimetic robot dogs alongside immersive VR devices. Meanwhile, BenQ attracted visitors with their multi-zone display, particularly their AI golf simulator that combines visual tracking with motion sensing.
Furthermore, Advantech and Solomon presented autonomous mobile robots and collaborative robotic arms. These demonstrations emphasized Taiwan's capabilities in intelligent manufacturing technologies.
Smart Mobility Gains Momentum
TADA organized a Smart Mobility Pavilion featuring 19 participating brands. The pavilion included companies like Pegatron, Vitalcore Technology, System Electronics, and OToBrite. Together, these companies promoted innovations in intelligent and electric vehicle technologies.
The mobility showcase reflected growing industry interest in autonomous and connected transportation solutions. Additionally, it demonstrated Taiwan's expanding role in next-generation automotive technologies.
InnoVEX Celebrates Decade Milestone
InnoVEX marked its 10th anniversary with notable growth. The startup section expanded 12.5% compared to the previous year. As a result, 450 startups from 24 countries participated in this year's event.
Thailand and the Philippines made their debuts with national pavilions. Both countries sent a combined delegation of 22 startups. This participation highlighted the rising influence of Asian innovation in global technology markets.
The InnoVEX Forum featured speakers from major technology companies. Representatives from AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Solomon, and Advantech shared insights on AI-driven innovation.
Taiwan Startup Wins Pitch Contest
DeepRad.AI from Taiwan won this year's Pitch Contest. The company develops AI applications for medical imaging to enable early disease detection. Judges praised the team's commitment to advancing public health through practical AI solutions.
Industry Leaders Share Vision
The COMPUTEX Keynote series featured prominent technology executives. Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's Founder and CEO, opened the sessions. Other speakers included Cristiano Amon from Qualcomm, Young Liu from Foxconn, Dr. Rick Tsai from MediaTek, and Jens Hinrichsen from NXP.
Notably, Taiwan featured prominently in most keynote presentations. This emphasis reinforced the island's critical role in global technology supply chains.
The COMPUTEX Forum welcomed 13 industry leaders under the theme "AI in Action." Over 1,300 attendees participated in discussions about AI implementation and market trends. Companies represented included NVIDIA, Google DeepMind, Texas Instruments, Advantech, Arm, Intel, Adobe, and others.
Sustainability Recognition and Cultural Collaborations
The COMPUTEX 2025 Sustainable Design Award recognized environmental initiatives. Pegatron received the Gold Award, while ASUS earned Silver and Lite-On took Bronze. These awards reflected the industry's growing focus on sustainable practices.
The exhibition also featured creative partnerships beyond technology. Plain-me collaborated with local snack brand Kuai Kuai to launch limited-edition merchandise. Similarly, Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation partnered with GQ Taiwan to host a hospitality lounge, blending capital markets with lifestyle elements.
Looking Ahead to 2026
COMPUTEX 2026 will take place from June 2 to 5. Due to strong exhibitor demand, organizers plan to expand the venue. Next year's event will include Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, plus TWTC Hall 1.
This expansion aims to create a dedicated AI-powered tech lifestyle ecosystem. The enlarged format reflects growing industry interest and the exhibition's evolving role in global technology showcases.
In conclusion, COMPUTEX 2025 demonstrated Taiwan's continued importance in global technology development. The event's success indicates strong momentum for AI adoption and innovation across multiple industries.
