We haven’t known much about the new models yet except that the filing says they will come with the launch of iOS 13, adding that they are planned to launch in 2019, in line with previous reports of Apple’s plan to ramp up manufacturing for its launches this fall. It was speculated by Apple Insider that the two latest filings are for a 10.2-inch iPads rumored to come out as an upgrade version of the 9.7-inch, entry-level iPad.

In addition, the tech giant may introduce new iPad Pro versions because the earlier introduction of iPadOS sets a convenient timeline for a refresh. Since the first iPad Pro debut in 2015, Apple has launched at least a new model with the release of the third generation in October last year. The standard iPad may also be reset considering that its chip is three years old now.
