Now Apple's users in India can easily try the latest version of iOS 12.2
1. Siri
If you own an Apple TV, now you can easily ask Siri to play videos, films, or channel on it with your own iPhone and iPad. Apple adds the ability for users to ask for the show they wish to watch on the Apple TV device.
2. Animoji
Apple is rolling out the Animoji for some latest models like iPhone X, XS, XS Max and XR on the iOS 12.2 version. The package includes four new Animojis, there are boar, owl, shark, and giraffe. This amazing feature is also added to the iPad Pro, including the 12.9-inch (3rd generation) model and 11-inch model.
3. AirPlay
This new update will support the highly convenient TV controls through Control Center and the Lock Screen. AirPlay also let users browse for other content, videos or apps locally on the device.
AirPlay destinations are now grouped by content type, so it's much faster for users to find what they need than ever.
4. Apple Pay
Users who have Visa Debit cards now can transfer their money to the bank accounts via Apple Pay. The information of all Apple Pay transactions will be displayed below in the Wallet app immediately.
5. Screen Time
Users will experience some new changes in Screen Time. Now users can configure the Downtime feature for every single day with different schedules. It’s giving more options when it comes to customizing how they wish to control the various apps. It’s will be turned on or off limits temporarily by a new toggle option as well.
6. Safari
The sign-in feature will activate automatically right after users fill in credentials with Password Autofill when using Safari. It’s said to warn you when you load an unencrypted web page. iOS 12.2 will no longer support the Do Not Track feature. The Smart Search Field can be modified by tapping the arrow button beside the search suggestions as well. Another feature Intelligent Tracking Prevention will now protect against cross-site tracking by default.
7. Apple Music
The new Apple Music makes it easy to discover new playlists and music. Its Browse tab will be highlighted by coming with more editorial contents.
8. Other features
Users in India now are having the ability to check the air quality via the Air Quality Index (AQI) supported in the Apple Maps. Besides India, Apple also introduces this function to the US and UK market. It's also been fixed with the problem that missed calls were not showing in the Notifications Centre.
Besides, Settings now will show the time remaining on your device’s warranty period. The iPhone Storage now is expected to show the storage bar graph correctly for the larger apps, which faced up to a display issue before, thanks to iOS 12.2.
