Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook has disclosed the latest company’s plan in India. He has said Apple is working with the Indian government on getting Apple stores into the country, so approval from local authorities is under processing.
Cook claimed that he would like to place retail stores there, due to the important role of Indian market at present. Without a doubt, India is not only a very challenging market of Apple but also a significant market in a near future.
The idea of this could date back to 2001, when Steve Jobs attempted to open a store-within-a-store concept for the first time. Beside selling the signature product lines of iPhone, the stores also give customers a couple of choices of Mac devices, iPad tablets, iPod, Apple Watch.
As part of that, the powerful CEO said his company is planning on going in there with sort of all of their might. According to a recent report, the US tech giant resulted in quarterly revenue of $58 billion in Q2, a decline of 5 percent from the year-over-year quarter. At the time you're reading this article, there are reportedly 504 locations around the world having this exclusive retail model. Now, we're just expecting to experience it as soon as possible in India.
