Apple Brings Its AR Artworks To These Six Major Cities

Apple has unveiled its plans to bring its augmented reality (AR) artworks to the six major cities in the world, including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, London, New York, and San Francisco.

Apple has unveiled its plans to bring its augmented reality (AR) artworks to the six major cities in the world, including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, London, New York, and San Francisco. That means visitors will be able to admire these works whenever they come to one of these cities.

The project is one of the three sessions the iDevice manufacturer has made an announcement in the recent time in a bid to inspire communities to have art-based AR experiences named [AR]T via the new ‘Today at Apple’ sessions.
These AR artworks include many works created by the top-world contemporary artists, such as Nathalie Djurberf and Hans Berg, Carsten Höller and Pipilotti Rist, Nick Cave, John Giorno, and Cao Fei.
Visitors, as well as participants, can experience the interactive walks in public spaces including Trafalgar Square in London, Grand Army Plaza, Central Park, New York, and Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. The project is curated by both Apple and New Museum, the United States.

In addition, Apple fans also have a chance to take part in another session at all of the Apple Stores and test immersive sounds and fantastic objects. According to the company,

Apple reveals the third session will expand to all of its global stores.
For Nick Cave’s fans, they can enjoy the Chicago artist’s sophisticated AR artwork called “Amass.” They just need to use the [AR]T Viewer available in the App Store to gather ‘Ikon Elements’ which are placed in the centre of any Apple Store. All of these three sessions will be officially available on August 10.
