Amazon, Facebook, Google Are Most Reliable Internet Companies in India: Report

Amazon e-commerce giant is the most reliable Internet brand in India, followed by Google and Facebook.

According to the latest TRA Research’s report, Amazon, an e-commerce giant is the most reliable brand in the Indian market. The next spots belong to Google search-engine giant and Facebook social network. In addition, among 32 surveyed Internet companies, Hike, a messaging application from India, held the fourth position, which beat the 10th-ranked Whatsapp acquired by Facebook, according to “Brand Trust Report 2019” of TRA Research.

Ranking the fifth spot is Oyo Rooms, an online hotel room aggregator and accommodation service provider in India. Ola, an Indian online cab aggregator was at the 6th position, which won Uber, a ride-hailing service from the U.S ranking the 14th. In addition, Paytm, an online payment service provider, beat rival Paypal when ranking the 19th (Paypal held the 20th spot).

Speaking about the report, TRA’s CEO, N.Chandramouli stated:

In addition, the 7th, 8th and 9th positions in top 10 trusted brands respectively belong to Flipkart, an Indian biggest online store, LinkedIn employment-oriented service, and Snapdeal online shopping site.
In addition, on a totally irrelevant note, Amazon announced the new next-generation Prime Air drone which is able to fly to the height of up to 24km and bring under-2.5kg packages to consumers within 30 mins. It is known that the new drone would begin shipping packages in upcoming months, beginning with the U.S market.
At the “Re:Mars” event, Amazon Worldwide Consumer’s CEO, Jeff Wilke said that the company hoped to expand the Prime Air model efficiently and quickly to deliver packages by drone to consumers within months with the support of the best fulfillment and delivery network.
