Xiaomi Mi TVs Tops Indian Smart TV Market With 39 Percent Share In Q1 2019

Xiaomi Mi TV’s market share in the Indian market impressively doubled the other suppliers including LG, Sony, and Samsung in Q1 2019.

Xiaomi launched its Mi TVs in the Indian consumer electronics market in 2018. In just one year, the company has incredibly developed and succeeded in holding the no.1 position in the market within a short period of time. Now, Xiaomi TVs, citing the data from IDC, announced on Weibo that the Mi TVs took up 39% share in the Indian market.

It’s worth noting that its market share impressively doubled the remaining vendors in the first quarter of 2019. As per the IDC data, Xiaomi held the first spot in the ranking, followed by LG in the second position with a 15% market share. The third spot belonged to Sony with a 14% market share, and Samsung took fourth place with a 12% market share in Q1 2019.
