This Might Be Evidence That Apple’s AirPower Is Coming Soon

Apple promised a wireless charging pad, and recently, they finally honor their word with the AirPower being seen appear in a bundle with the refreshed AirPods.

The first time we heard about the AirPower was back in September 2017 when Apple revealed their iPhone X and iPhone 8. However, the device did not come out right away as Apple reportedly ran into some technical issues in the process.

The updated AirPods’ package features a picture and the name of the AirPower, which may lead us to believe that the device has finally been rolled out after one year of delay. One of the most significant selling points of the new AirPods is its wireless charging case. So it is reasonable for Apple to include the pad with it and choose this time to reveal both devices.

According to a previous announcement from the company, the AirPower can be used with up to three other devices from Apple. All you have to do it to put them on top of the pad.

The wireless charging feature appears on iPhone X, XS, XS Max, 8, and 8 Plus. For now, users of those phones can make use of the function by using charging devices from a third party such as Belkin and Mophie.

However, Apple has some secrets for its AirPower to differentiate it from other competitors. One of these unique features is when users place an iPhone on the mat with other Apple devices, they can see clearly on the phone how much the two other items have been charged.

The new AirPods from Apple which comes with a wireless charging case will set you back $199. Users can choose to acquire a separate case to use on previous versions of the AirPods at the price of $79.
