After the Mi Air Purifier 2C was released in India less than a month ago, the Chinese consumer electronics and smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its new Mi Air Purifier 3 amid the peak pollution season.
Some of the Mi Air Purifier 3 include a HEPA Class 13 filter, a primer filter, and an activated carbon filter, forming a triple filtration system to clean the air. Although the appearance of the Mi Air Purifier 3 is similar to that of the Mi Air Purifier, it has a higher Clear Air Delivery Rate which reaches 380 cubic meters per hour. Moreover, it can also handle a larger area, compared to its predecessor. On the front of the air purifier, there is a touchscreen with an OLED display to show the current air quality in the room. The screen also allows users to change modes by swiping on the display.
What changes in the design includes a larger, square opening at the top while this opening of the Mi Air Purifier 2S is circular. The Mi Air Purifier 3’s fan is replaced. Instead of an Eddy fan, the company installs a centrifugal fan.
For pricing, the new air purifier of Xiaomi costs Rs. 9,999. Starting tomorrow, customers can find it on Amazon as well as Flipkart.
Meanwhile, the Mi Air Purifier 2C will continue to be sold at Rs. 6,499. And it seems like this air purifier will stay available, for now.
