Here’s a list of what we think to be the best phone cases for the Samsung Galaxy S10’s trio.

Samsung has recently released its tenth iteration of the Samsung Galaxy. If you happen to have one in your pocket right now, you might want it to have some extra protection. No matter which one of the three models you have: The S10E, S10, or S10 Plus: The market has all flavors of cases you can choose from.

Here’s a list of what we think to be the best phone cases for the Samsung Galaxy S10’s trio.

Durable and Slim Cases

Speck Presidio Pro

It is a rather slim, yet tough case. The Speck Presidio Pro’s case is available in a multitude of colors, and it has a texture that feels not only nice but also grippy. The company calls this a: “no-slip grip.”

Besides, the case is also designed based on an antimicrobial technology called Microban that can “inhibit the growth bacteria that causes stains and odors.”

Price: $40 at Amazon.

OtterBox Symmetry Series

This $40 case is pretty stylish through its sleek design that is available in multiple colors including a translucent ‘Clear’ option for you to show off your purchase. Of course, looking cool does not diminish its excellent ability to protect your valuable device.

Price: $40 at Amazon.

Gear4 Piccadilly

This clear case which starts from $30 can be bought from a selection of design options. But unlike most translucent cases on the market that are made entirely from clear plastic, the Gear4 Piccadilly is lined with D30 - a proprietary shock-absorbent material. So if you’re looking for a clear case that provides a higher degree of protection than most, this one is it.

Price: $30 at Amazon.

Catalyst Case

In the past, Catalyst is a company known for making waterproof cases for the sports fanatics. Though nowadays it had switched its model to making shock-absorbent cases. This case is made from high-strength translucent plastic and also features a removable lanyard to secure your phone. Unfortunately, the lanyard cannot be tightened, though.

The case is available as either in obvious plastic or lined with black.

Price: $40 at Amazon.

Speck Presidio Grip

This one is a more ‘grippy’ version of the previously introduced Presidio line. The pattern etched onto the back of the case is designed to improve the feel and security of the device in your hand. Of course, the case has many color options you can choose from, especially, if you’re fond of glitters; it also has the unique Glitter model.

Price: $35 at Amazon.

Folio and Wallet Cases

Samsung LED Wallet Case

This is one of the coolest cases that Samsung offers along with the S10. It not only acts as a wallet case (Though the most you will ever be able to fit into it is maybe a couple of bills and a credit card), the best thing about it is the LED display. The case has some LED bulbs built into it that can display the time and your notifications in the vintage dot-matrix visual. The cover is also built so that when there is an incoming call, all you need to do is to swipe across the surface of the cover: No need to flip your phone out.

Unique icons can be attached to people in your contacts, so you would know who’s calling even when you don’t look at the main phone’s screen.

Price: $50 - $60 (at Amazon and many other online stores).

OtterBox Strada

The OtterBox Strada is a very protective case judging from the thick paddings alone. Within is a slot that you can store one credit card, an ID, or some cash within. It will not replace a proper wallet, however, so keep that in mind.

The case can be had by $70, though if you know where to look, you can get it for $50. It’s available in black and brown.

Price: $50 - $70.

Gear4 Oxford

This is a pretty excellent folio case that you can prop up into a kickstand. It also has a built-in slot for you to store some small trinkets, papers, cash, or cards. Just like the Gear4 Piccadilly we have told you about, this one was also designed with the D30 material in its frame.

Price: $50 at Amazon.

Silk Wallet Slayer

This is one of the best wallet cases in the affordable price range you can possibly get. At only $15, the case can fit around three credit cards along with a sizeable wad of cash. In return, it looks pretty ordinary and not as exciting as the more expensive options.

At the back of the case you can find a slot that, with some cleverness, you can stick a credit card into and prop the phone up into a kickstand.

Price: $15 at Amazon.

Rugged Cases

X-Doria Defense Shield Series

There is a couple of models you can find within the X-Doria Defense Shield series. But all of the cases that are part of this series were certified to meet MIL-STD-810G - a set of military-grade drop test standards. That means the case can protect your phone entirely from a fall up to 3 meters (10 ft). What we like most about this case is that despite the great protection it offers, it is not very bulky or heavy.

Price: $30 at Amazon.

OtterBox Pursuit Series

OtterBox makes all kinds of cases, even protective ones. Although up until the introduction of the Pursuit series, most of them had been way too bulky for me to like. The Pursuit is a breath of fresh air in term of design, featuring a similarly protective, yet drastically slimmer than old designs from the Defender series. There are also many color options for you to choose from.

The case is pretty expensive, though, at $70 a unit. If you’re patient enough, I’m sure the price will drop sometime in the future.

Price: $70 at Walmart.

Urban Armor Monarch Series

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) is known for its protective cases. And although most of them are decent, we suggest the Monarch series if you’re looking for something that’s both tough and stylish. The Monarch has many color options, reinforced corners, and certified for MIL-STD-810G 516.6, which is a rigorous set of military drop-test standards. The case also has a 10-year limited warranty.

Price: $60 at Amazon.

LifeProof Next

Though once upon a time it was an independent company, the rugged case maker is now a branch of OtterBox. For a case that is built for ruggedness, it is pretty slim and available in two different design options: Complete translucent, or lined with black. Either way, you can only have it if you’re willing to part way with $80.

Price: $80 at Best Buy.
