Huami Officially Launched The Amazfit GTR Smartwatch In India

When it comes to the specifications, the Amazfit is designed with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla 3 tempered glass. Also, users will have up to 12 various sports modes.

On September 11, Huami, the wearable brand backed by Xiaomi, introduced the Amazfit GTR smartwatch to the Indian market. The smartwatch is now sold for Rs 10,999 and available on Myntra and Flipkart from September 12.

When it comes to the specifications, the Amazfit is designed with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla 3 tempered glass which is coated with anti-fingerprint technology. The GTR 47.4 mm edition includes many variations including stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and titanium. In addition, the smartwatch can operate within 24 consecutive days.

Some outstanding characteristics of Huami’s latest wearable device include 6-axis acceleration sensor, Pressure sensor, 3-axis Geomagnetic sensor, an optical sensor called BioTracker PPG for monitoring heart rates, and Ambient Light sensor. The smartwatch, of course, also allows users to check app notifications or receiving incoming calls, and more.

Two variations of the Amazfit GTR.

With the Amazfit GTR, users will have up to 12 various sports modes such as cycling, mountaineering, trial running, workout, and running. After they complete an activity, the smartwatch will display all of the collected data from time per lap, laps, bpm range, pace, to distance.

It also won the “Wearable Applications Innovation Award”, an IFA Product Technical Innovation Award 2019 at IFA Berlin. The IFA show is the world-class trade show for wearables, home appliances, and consumer electronics.
