Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched its latest Honor Band 5 fitness band in the Indian market. The device was first unveiled in the home market as a successor to the Band 4. It offers more advanced features of health tracking and ensures users’ healthy lifestyle. Accordingly, the wearable comes with seven breakthrough technologies like real-life heart rate monitor, swim stroke recognition, color AMOLED screen, water-resistant up to 50m, ten distinct fitness modes, intelligent sleep data, and stylish watch faces.

The wearable is priced at Rs. 2,599 in India, which is similar to its predecessor. The device is available in 3 color variants including Meteorite Black, Midnight Navy, and Coral Pink. It will go on sales from 8 August via Flipkart.

Regarding the specs, the Band 5 sports a 0.95-inch 120 x 240-pixel touchscreen color AMOLED display with a pixel density of 282 ppi. Its 100mAh battery is tipped to be able to work in 14 days with one single charge. Additionally, its fitness monitoring features comprise of sleep tracking, sport modes like swimming, running, and cycling, and real-life heart rate tracking. The wearable has a 5 ATM rating as well, which means users can submerge it into the water up to 50m and go swimming with it.

In addition, the device has a blood oxygen level tracker, and six-axis inertial sensor, helping track poor sleep, fatigue, and dizziness and pair with both iOS and Android devices that use Huawei Health application.
