On a road in the state of Goa, travelers will see a strange banner that warns them against following Google Maps.
For legit reasons, Google Maps is likely the most helpful mobile app that any tech firm has ever released. Not only regular consumers but also ride-hailing services mostly rely on the app for direction to their expected destinations.

Google Maps offer several features such as telling the distance from one location to another and making suggestions on the best route to take based on traffic conditions. Despite its popularity and usefulness, sometimes, Google Maps still make mistakes, guiding you to wherever except for your needed destination. In those cases, the only thing left to do is asking locals for directions, as we did in the past.
Now, someone decided to make up for Google Maps’ mistake, hanging a warning banner in Goa. Specifically, the banner warns people about following Google Maps to find the way to Baga Beach.

Accordingly, the most popular mapping app gives wrong directions to Baga Beach, which is among the most famous beaches in the state of Goa. In fact, reaching the beach from a nearby hotel can be tricky for tourists, and they tend to use Google Maps. Google has obviously fixed the issue after it went public last year.
Sumanth Raj Urs was the first to share this photo to the public by posting it on Tweeter. The post quickly went viral, getting 875 likes and 254 retweets. Twitterati then applauded him for sharing this warning. Plus, several users shared their own experience of getting lost in searching for Baga Beach on Google’s mapping app.
