Wearing Face Masks During S.e.x Can Prevent COVID-19 From Spreading

Our lives have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown order.

We can’t leave our houses without a mask, we can’t shake hands with other people. People are trying to adjust to a new normal. And now, the pandemic even affects people’s sex life.

Harvard University’s researchers have recently published a COVID-19 sexual health guide. One of the biggest recommendations written in the guide is that couples who don’t stay together, still meet each other on a regular basis, and are sexually active, should not kiss on the mouth.

This might make sense until you read the next guideline, which is absolutely absurd. The researchers then write that a couple should have sex while wearing face masks to prevent being infected with the novel coronavirus.

Moreover, the guideline also advises that people should reduce the number of sexual partners as well as refraining from having sex with people who have COVID-19 symptoms.

Thus, it is recommended that couples should use condoms while being intimate. Thus, they should shower before and after having sex, cleanse themselves with soap or alcohol wipes.

The researchers also encourage people to remain abstinent or masturbate via digital platforms to prevent infection.

Dr. Jack Turbna, the lead researcher of the study, said in a statement, in these situations, the safest approach for couples was to have sex with the one they were living with.

The study was published when the UK has just announced a new lockdown rule that makes having with a person who does not stay under the same roof illegal.
