Annually, Google celebrates the best apps on its Play Store. And this time, you may be thrilled to know the special entry that competes in the User’s Choice category. The entry we’re talking about is a mobile game that the Indian Air Force released earlier this year.

‘Indian Air Force: A Cut Above,’ as the game’s called, has been nominated by the search giant for the title ‘User’s Choice Game’ in 2019. Released in July 2019, it is a combat flying simulator. Then Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa debuted this game with the aim of attracting more young people to enroll in Armed forces.

Earlier this year, the Indian Air Force released a mobile game called 'Indian Air Force: A Cut Above'

Besides bombing raids and aerial combat, this game has a character that resembles Wing Commander Adhinanadan Varthaman that was captured then released from Pakistan after the Balakot airstrike when the MiG-21 Bison he flew was shot down, which happened in February.

The incident got him grounded and gave him notoriety, which piled up after he could rejoin his team and was able to fly a raid in a MiC-21 side by side with Chief Marshal Dhanoa.

However, the game has to go against some big competitors such as Call of Duty Mobile, Harry Potter Wizards Unite, Assassin’s Creed: Rebellion, and Angry Birds Dream Blast, Pokémon Masters, The Elder Scrolls: Blades.

The vote is taking place on the ‘Users’ Choice Awards 2019 vote’ page on Google Play’s page. The vote won’t end until November 25. Google will announce the results on December 3.
