If things aren’t chaotic enough, a Chinese virologist, who is reportedly hiding, has claimed she has evidence proving that COVID-19 was from the Wuhan lab.
In order to protect her safety from the Chinese government, Dr. Li-Meng Yan is said to be in hiding.
She said that the previous year, she had done some research into COVID-19. She revealed the information during the talk show “Loose Women.”
During the interview, she was asked about the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 virus causing the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, Dr. Yan answered the interview from a secret location via a video chat. She said that the virus came from the government-controlled lab in Wuhan.
She emphasized that saying the virus came from a wet market was only a “smokescreen,” and it didn’t come from nature.
Yan added that her intel was from the local doctors and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Previously, she has accused Beijing of not being honest about the virus. According to Yan, her former supervisors from the World Health Organization’s reference laboratory, the Hong Kong School of Public Health, advised her to remain quiet when she warned the authorities about the virus’ human-to-human transmission.
Yan also said that she had already escaped to America. She is now planning on releasing the scientific evidence that backs her claims.
She stated that before she left China, all her government from the government databases was wiped out.
