With the ongoing situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, medical staff is on the frontlines to fight against the novel coronavirus and save people. They have been on duty day and night. Some don’t even receive their salary on time. But they are doing the best they can to contain the spread of the virus.

Many videos and images, showing how working continuously wearing face masks and PPE kits impacts the medical staff, have been circulating online, giving us an insight into how tough their job is.

Now, a video that is said to be from China is going viral, further emphasizing what the medical workers are going through. In the video, a doctor can be seen removing a PPE kit after wearing for hours and hours. Right after she removes it, a bucket of sweat gushes out of the hazmat suit. This happens right after she removes plastic bags on her feet.

People’s Daily reports that the video was recorded in Urumqi, China on August 8 when the medic was having a break.

We can’t verify whether the water gushing out of the PPE kit was actually sweat or it was just an elaborate prank. However, after the video was posted online, it has become viral with many people believe that it is true.

Some time ago, an image was said to show a doctor’s hand after wearing gloves for more than 10 hours also became viral. In the image, the wrinkled hand of a doctor is captured after 10 hours of work wearing protective gear.

Back in March, doctors in Italy where was hit hard by the pandemic, shared photos of their bruised faces with an important message, urging people to “stay home.”
