Uddhab Bharali was born in Lakhimpur, Assam in 1962. He went to Jorhat Engineering College and studied Mechanical Engineering but unfortunately, he had to stop studying due to the financial crisis and because his parents were in debt.
To support his family, he started his own business. He produced plastic covers for workers in tea-plantation. But buying a machine for manufacturing the product was too expensive (about Rs 6 lakh at that time) so he decided to make a machine by himself and it took him just Rs 67,000.
This sparked his fire, motivating him to create equipment and gadgets at lower costs that could help improve people’s lives.
