Taking photos by iPhones are kind of amazing as Apple always know how to keep people amazed with their own artwork. Up to now, this year’s winner of the iPhone Photography Awards has been determined. With the photograph “Big Sister”, Gabriella Cigliano from Italy has won the Grand Prize award as well as Photographer of the Year. The grand-award-winning masterpiece was shot by the iPhone X. Following it, other winning photographs include “Sea Stripes”, “Sorry, no movie today”, and “Come Across”.
This year, representatives from 18 countries in the world have taken part in the competition, including India. Notably, two among top winning photos are taken by Indians: one photo from Maharastra-native Dimpy Bhalotia and another from Sreekumar Krisnan in Karnataka. While Bhalotia’s photo is holding second place in the “Series” category, Krishnan’s piece has topped the first place in the “Sunset” category.
