Those Who Got Their Stuff Stolen At The Office Would Need This Device

To deal with the sweets stealing situation, a device called Pudding Alert was created, to help you protect your puddings from thieves.

On a stressful and tiring working day, a soft, buttery pudding will be a good stress reliever. Some office workers often keep some pudding in the fridge but sometimes, what they take out is just an empty box.

To deal with the sweets stealing situation, a device called Pudding Alert was created, to help you protect your puddings from thieves. The Pudding Alert device includes a monitor and a sensor-equipped plate.

When the device detects that the pudding is stolen, the screen will display an angry face. At the same time, the device will issue warnings like “The pudding has been stolen” and “Return the pudding!” Of course, the volume needs to be loud enough to catch the attention of the people around and startle the thief.

In case the thief decides to return the pudding back to its place, the Pudding Alert will stop being angry and announced that “The Pudding has returned.” But what if what the thief returns is not the pudding, but something with a similar size?

Don’t worry as the Pudding Alert is smarter than you have expected. The device knows the exact weight of the stolen pudding. If there is a change in weight, it will know that it has been tricked and shouts “This is not the pudding!”

Moreover, the moment the pudding is taken away from the plate, the camera which is equipped in the device will automatically take a photo and send this photo via e-mail to the original owner of the pudding. And if someone tries to move the device, it will also automatically take and send a photo.

Pudding Alert was researched and developed by Nemoto and his colleagues in two years. After carrying out a series of updates to create the current Pudding Alert 2.1 version, Nemoto said that if the number of orders was enough, the team will consider putting it on the market.
